The WANic 56512 features 10Gb Ethernet interfaces, a PCI Express host interface, and a 12-core, 750MHz OCTEON Plus processor. Other key features are 4GBytes of DDR2 SDRAM; 4GBytes of Flash disk; and a fully-featured software development package that includes Universal Boot (U-Boot) and comprehensive Power On Self Test (POST) firmware embedded in the hardware as well as Linux™ Support Package (LSP) and sample application code. WANic 56512 is designed for NEBS compliance.
